I saw one of my chicks flying out of the nest yesterday, I ran to get my camera, but it was back in the nest by the time I got back. There are three beautiful chicks. One dark and two light. I have left my camera by the cage so I am ready next time lol.
It's so fun to watch the chicks grow and watch the moma and daddy both feed them. A couple of years ago we had a pair of finches to nest in our asparagus fern right in front of my kitchen window. Needless to say I got lots of pics watching them grow.
